Poles have assaulted a Belarusian citizen for speaking Russian, mistaking her for a Ukrainian, reports the Warsawhere portal.

“An aggressive Polish woman spat in the girl’s face and demanded that she ‘return to her Ukraine,’ after which she grabbed her hair, and a companion struck the girl several times on the head,” the article states.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident of ethnic insults.
