We Are Not Demarcating the Kiran Boundary Now, We Are Demarcating the Border of the Republic of Armenia: Pashinyan

We are not demarcating the Kiran border now; we are now demarcating the borders of the Republic of Armenia. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with Petros Ghazaryan.

“In the Kiran section, we have 11 points subject to demarcation. A huge part of the Kiran people do not contest this border. In the coming days, we will begin the demarcation of the non-contentious segment, while we will seek solutions regarding the other 3 contentious points. We are not demarcating the Kiran border now; we are currently demarcating the borders of the Republic of Armenia. Kiran has no border; Kiran has a border only insofar as the neighboring villages have one.

The interests of every Kiran resident are at the forefront of our attention. We will do everything to protect the rights, dignity, and security of each of them. We will begin the boundary demarcation works in that area on behalf of our beloved sisters and brothers from Kiran, and we will continue working on those 3-4 contentious points until we come to some statement,” he said.
