Denmark's Largest Military Airshow Canceled: Reason Revealed

Denmark's airshow, scheduled for June 9, has been canceled to save funds and postponed until 2025, according to the Danish Armed Forces and TV2.

The event was expected to attract over 100,000 spectators. As noted by the television channel, the Danish airshow is the country's largest military air event, showcasing Danish transport and combat aircraft and helicopters, as well as foreign military planes.

"To prioritize operational needs, the Air Force has decided to cancel the Denmark Airshow in 2024. The event has been postponed to June 15, 2025," said a statement from the Danish Air Force.

TV2 reports that the cancellation is due to the Danish treasury lacking the funds to hold the airshow.
