You have brought tears and powerlessness to our heroic people. This was stated by the Bishop of Tavush, Bagrat, during a meeting in Kiran, speaking about the encounter between the residents of Kiran and Prime Minister Pashinyan.

“Our people, who have upheld the Republic of Armenia, defended the borders, fought heroically, even in the early years when the army was not yet formed, fought without an army and sacrificed lives, are now powerless because of you, because of the government and its leader. You are trying to instill a mentality of despair in them. People are unable to grasp that this is the reality; that heroic people, whose greatest honor is to protect the homeland's gate, are in this situation today because of you and your policies. We will not allow this; I state this clearly. You must answer for what you have done. Your actions will not go unanswered; the dark deeds shrouded in darkness will not remain without response,” he said, noting that the residents of Kiran were so honest that they believed the government until the last moment.
