Photos: Iranian Consul General and Syunik Governor Visit Accident Victims

Yesterday, near the village of Verin Khotanan in Syunik Province, a bus transporting citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran veered off the roadway and rolled into a ravine.

Emergency response teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene, along with two units from the fire and rescue squad and one from the primary care center in Agvani.

Members of Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasian's staff immediately traveled to Kapan Medical Center, where emergency personnel had quickly reached the scene and were transporting the injured.

Present at the accident site were Syunik Deputy Governor Hayk Harutyunyan and the Iranian Consul General in Kapan, Morteza Abedin Varamin.

After the injured were transported, the consul visited Kapan Medical Center and, alongside the governor, toured the wards of the injured, inquiring about each person's condition, health, and any pressing needs they may have related to their care.
