The Ministry of Internal Affairs Urges Not to Target the Police and to Refrain from Provocative Actions
Certain circles, including media outlets, are unjustifiably and systematically targeting the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on social platforms, attempting to spread misinformation and directed false information that damages the credibility of the agency.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs Police stated in their announcement: “The Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, carrying out the functions assigned to it by law and taking measures to maintain public order and ensure the safety of society. The law enforcement agency implements its tasks using the legal tools granted to it by law, considering the measures aimed at minimizing intervention in specific situations.”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to carry out measures to maintain public order and ensure safety, all of which are under continuous monitoring by the Ministry’s internal security and anti-corruption department.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation, targeting the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs based on unfounded claims or referring to sources of unknown origin, and to avoid other provocative actions. Instead, it is advised to rely on the official statements and comments from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police.
