Photos: Pashinyan Observes Masterclass on Kyufta and Baklava Preparation in Gavar
During his visit to Gegharkunik Province, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also visited the central square of Gavar, where community exhibitions showcased the five communities of Gegharkunik Province, local young entrepreneurs, and individuals and organizations engaged in tourism and food production.
During the tour, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the handicrafts made by students from educational and cultural institutions. The event featured masterclasses on preparing kyufta and baklava, bicycle racing, and sports demonstrations.
The organizers of the event included the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the office of the Gegharkunik Province Governor, and the Gavar Municipality.
Prime Minister Pashinyan, accompanied by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, also visited the Berdkunk fortress, located in the Berdkunk community, where archaeological excavations are taking place. The Berdkunk fortress is a multi-layered monument dating back to the 2nd-1st millennium BC, which was reconstructed and reached its peak of development during the Middle Ages. After the completion of the archaeological excavations, a project for the restoration of the fortress will be developed.
