Surik Petrosyan to be Released from Detention Today, No Charges Filed Against Him

The Mayor Surik Petrosyan is set to be released from custody today as no charges have been filed against him within the 60-hour timeframe. This announcement was made by the Coordinating Staff for Armenian Statehood.

It is noteworthy that he was detained at the Bagratashen checkpoint in the Tavush region and is one of the leaders of the Tavush movement. Previously, Surik Petrosyan had been moved to the village of Voskepar, where he has been residing for the past month and a half.
