Russia May Launch a 'Ceremonial' Strike on May 9, Podolyak
Russia may increase the number of missile attacks and deliver a 'ceremonial' strike on May 9, which is considered a sacred day for them. This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, in an interview with Channel 24.
“Yes, Russia can, I say this with sarcasm now, deliver such a classic Russian 'ceremonial' strike. But I believe that before that, we can slightly enhance the combat readiness of our missile defense systems,” Podolyak said.
He clarified that Ukraine is unlikely to receive additional launch devices within two weeks due to complex logistical issues, but may manage to obtain interceptor missiles to prepare for the 'May 9 celebration.'
