Russia and Europe Will No Longer Have Previous Relations, Peskov Says
After the successful completion of the special operation, Russia and Europe must build their relations on new foundations. This was stated today by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a conversation with reporters.
“We still need to agree on how we will live going forward. It is clear that these will be relations based on new formats,” he said.
At the same time, Peskov noted that Russia and Europe will not geographically “move away from each other.” He added, “Therefore, in any case, relations must be built on new foundations.”
According to him, the previous relations between Russia and Europe will no longer exist. “Moscow remembers and takes into account how it is treated,” Dmitry Peskov said, adding, “It will no longer be possible to build relations as they were in the past, and no one will want that, primarily we do not want that, because we have a great deal of experience in relations with Europeans.”
