Arman Tsarukyan Faces Fine and Suspension

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) may impose a suspension and fine on Arman Tsarukyan, the top-ranked fighter in the UFC lightweight division, for allegedly attacking a fan that showed him a middle finger during the UFC 300 event in Las Vegas.

“There may be a fine and suspension. The commission will decide,” said Tsarukyan’s manager, Sayat Abdrakhmanov, as quoted by tass.ru.

MMA Junkie reported that Arman Tsarukyan has yet to receive his fight purse from the bout against Brazilian fighter Charles Oliveira at the event. The NSAC has blocked the payment pending a decision related to the incident.

By defeating Oliveira, Arman Tsarukyan has earned the right to contend for the championship. The current UFC champion in this weight class is Russian fighter Islam Makhachev.
