How Many People Were Detained During the Protests

A total of 29 participants of the protest have been detained. This information has been reported by the police to the media.

Out of those detained, 17 were in Yerevan and 12 in Noyemberyan. It is noteworthy that police have arrested protest participants from Charents Street in Yerevan, including Edgar Ghazaryan, Naira Zohrabyan, and Larisa Alaverdyan.

Today, sections of the Yerevan-Meghri interstate road at Tigranashen, the Yerevan-Gyumri highway at Alagyaz, and the Yerevan-Vardenis road at Martuni have been closed. Streets have also been blocked in Yerevan; specifically, the Khorenatsi-Zakyan intersection and Charents Street in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are currently closed. Additionally, the Kiranzi section of the interstate road between Armenia and Georgia has been closed for several days.
