Major Car Accident-Fire in Gyumri: Vehicles Reduced to Ashes

On April 24, a major car accident and fire occurred in the Shirak region. At approximately 1:10 AM, a collision took place between a Mercedes and a GAZelle cargo truck near the Gorqu stadium in Gyumri.

According to shamshyan.com, a fire broke out in the vehicles as a result of the collision. A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Rescue Service arrived at the scene, consisting of one operational team from the Gyumri Fire and Rescue Department.

The firefighters first prevented the spread of the flames and then extinguished the fire; however, the vehicles were completely reduced to a pile of ashes.

The police department in the Mush district is processing the documents related to the incident, which will ultimately reveal the identities of the drivers. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the accident.
