Photos: Production Activities of Public Catering Facility Suspended

Inspections were carried out by the inspectors of the State Food Safety Inspection Body’s Tavush Regional Center at the public catering facility of the 'Mayisyan Kamurj' company in Ijevan, based on a citizen's report. The inspection revealed gross violations of sanitary and hygienic norms, specifically:

• Items and equipment in direct contact with food had not been properly cleaned,
• Work surfaces were not maintained in a clean and repaired condition, showing signs of corrosion,
• The upper parts of the ceilings were contaminated, with the possibility of debris falling,
• The wall tiles in the kitchen were damaged and incomplete,
• Some windows in the kitchen were missing insect protection nets.

Several other violations were also identified, and the results of the inspection are currently being summarized. However, considering the dangerous nature of the violations, the activities of the public catering facility have been suspended immediately, and a deadline has been established for rectifying the identified violations.
