First Border Pillar Installed on Armenia-Azerbaijan Border: Pashinyan
The first border pillar was installed at the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border in the Tavush-Ghazakh section. This was announced by Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page, along with a photo.
On April 23, 2024, based on geodetic measurements and coordination adjustments, the first border pillar was installed at the border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. The work of the expert groups from both countries continues. This information was provided by the press service of the Government.
According to the agreements reached during the 8th meeting of the commission for the delimitation of the state border and border security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the expert teams from both countries have started the coordination adjustment process today, based on geodetic measurements conducted in the field.
