Erdogan Calls on Armenia to Reassess Relations
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has urged the Armenian authorities to orient themselves based on the existing realities in order to draft a roadmap for normalizing relations with Turkey. This was reported by TASS.
“A new order is being established in the region right now. It is time to set aside baseless memories and better act based on the realities of our present time. Now, even Pashinyan understands this. It is time to create new roadmaps on a realistic basis. I hope that Armenia will free itself from the darkness into which it has been drawn by the Diaspora and choose the path of new beginnings for a bright future,” Erdogan told reporters accompanying him upon his return from Iraq. His remarks were cited by Anadolu Agency.
Erdogan emphasized that “the window of opportunities does not always remain open, and it is essential to make effective use of the moment.”
