Creating a Nuclear Bomb for Iran is 'a Matter of Weeks': Grossi
For Iran, obtaining a sufficient amount of enriched uranium to build an atomic bomb is "a matter of weeks, not months." This was stated by Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in an interview with Deutsche Welle.
Grossi added that although the level of uranium enrichment in Iran has nearly reached the threshold necessary for the creation of nuclear weapons, raising concerns, it cannot be concluded that Iran already possesses such weapons.
According to Grossi, in addition to the production of enriched uranium, the creation of a functional nuclear warhead requires "many other things," such as conducting tests.
