Son Commits Suicide After Killing Mother in Yerevan

On April 20, at 7:10 PM, a 64-year-old man called the National Police's operational management center to report that he had returned home to find his wife murdered. An operational group dispatched to the apartment in the Duryan neighborhood discovered the body of the 63-year-old homeowner, who had suffered cut and stab wounds to the neck and head.

Investigative measures revealed that around 5 PM, the couple's 33-year-old son, who had mental health issues, attacked his mother, resulting in her death. It was also determined that after killing his mother, the young man committed suicide by jumping off the Kievian Bridge.
