The Process of Border Demarcation and Delimitation is Crucial for Establishing Stable and Lasting Peace: Torosyan

Arsen Torosyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction of the National Assembly, shared his thoughts on Telegram:

“The peace process is never easy or straightforward and primarily consists of making decisions and implementing them that are outside the logic of 'conflict.' If we continue to shape our attitudes towards these decisions within the framework of 'conflict,' then it will undoubtedly be negative. Although it is difficult for many of us to break out of this mindset, I believe we must all make an effort in this direction, at least on a personal level, which will also contribute to a collective effort.

For establishing stable and lasting peace between conflicting parties, the processes of border demarcation and delimitation are very important. And today we must acknowledge that we have made significant progress on this issue. This progress is critical since it has solid legitimate foundations, which is the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration that recognized our territorial integrity based on the administrative territory of the Armenian SSR.”
