Import of Certain Products from Russian Company 'Timosha' Banned in Armenia

The head of Armenia's Food Safety Inspection Body has issued an order prohibiting the import of several products produced by the Russian company 'Timosha' effective April 22.
The banned products include:
- 'Sunflower Halva' 250g, produced on February 20, 2024, with a shelf life until October 20, 2024,
- 'Sunflower Halva with Raisins' 250g, produced on January 17, 2024, with a shelf life until September 17, 2024,
- 'Sunflower Halva with Peanuts' 250g, produced on February 23, 2024, with a shelf life until October 23, 2024,
- 'Kozinakh with Fructose' 110g, produced on January 28, 2024, with a shelf life until June 28, 2024,
- 'Sunflower Halva' 250g, produced on February 25, 2024, with a shelf life until October 25, 2024,
- 'Kozinakh Sunflower' 150g, produced on February 25, 2024, with a shelf life until August 25, 2024,
- 'Airy Sunflower Halva' 200g, produced on February 15, 2024, with a shelf life until October 15, 2024.
The inspection body will take samples of other products from 'Timosha' that are imported into Armenia and subject them to laboratory testing for the 'Cadmium' indicator.
