Two Earthquakes Occur in Turkey
The Turkish government's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that two earthquakes occurred on the night of April 18. This information was provided by ermenihaber.am.
According to the report, the first underground tremor registered a magnitude of 4.7 and was located in the Sulusaray area of Tokat province in eastern Turkey. A second earthquake followed in the same region, registering a magnitude of 4.1.
It was noted that the tremors were felt in neighboring areas as well. Following the incidents, school operations in Sulusaray and two other districts were suspended for one day. There have been no reports of material or human losses as a result of the earthquakes.
