Edmon Marukyan on the Withdrawal of Russian Peacekeepers from Artsakh

We are awaiting the Scandinavian peacekeeping force. This was stated by Edmon Marukyan, a former ambassador with special assignments of Armenia.

He also added, “The withdrawal of the Russian peacekeeping contingent from the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh has begun. We all remember how we were convinced that if the Russian peacekeeping contingent left the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, then the Scandinavian peacekeepers would come and the people of Artsakh would live securely with the guarantees provided by them. Now, let those who said all this come out and demand that the Scandinavian peacekeepers come to Artsakh and that the people return there and live with those security guarantees. If those people, who have been vocal day and night about the mandatory withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers and the rescue mission of the Scandinavian peacekeepers, do not personally come forward and engage with this issue, then I will be forced to address them by name. It’s better you initiate it and fulfill your promises yourselves.”
