Shooting in Central Tbilisi Leaves Injured

Three people have been injured in a shooting incident that took place on Tabidze Street in Tbilisi. All of the injured individuals have been hospitalized, according to ‘Imedi’ TV channel. One of the victims is in critical condition.

The incident occurred around 1:00 PM local time. Eyewitnesses reported that the shooter had been masked. He opened fire on a young man who was walking in the street with bodyguards. The bodyguard returned fire and injured the assailant.

“I heard gunshots. There were about 7 shots fired. The shooter was hit in the head, while the other two, who were defending themselves, sustained injuries to their backs. All three were taken to the hospital,” an eyewitness recounted.

Forensic experts are currently working at the scene. The motives behind the crime remain unknown.
