Pashinyan Has Surrendered Artsakh, This Is Irreversible: Satanovsky
Pashinyan has surrendered Artsakh, this is irreversible. This was stated by Yevgeny Satanovsky, the president of the Russian Institute for the Middle East, in an interview with a NEWS.am correspondent.
According to him, Pashinyan is now effectively and persistently severing relations with Russia.
"So what should Russia do in Artsakh? How many Armenians are left there? And in that case, what peacekeepers? Who do they save?" Satanovsky posed the rhetorical question.
He noted that the chances of returning Armenians to Artsakh were exhausted at the moment when they still lived there.
"Pashinyan has closed this topic, and as far as I understand, closed it forever: How many Armenians live in what was once one of the largest Armenian cities in the world, Istanbul? How many Armenians live in Baku?" Satanovsky added.
It is worth recalling that Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed on April 17 that the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from Artsakh has begun.
