Tension at Yerevan City Council Meeting: "You Can Keep Barking", "Making a Mistake"

A tense situation unfolded during the Yerevan City Council meeting. Manuk Sukiasyan, head of the "Mother Armenia" faction, made a statement that prompted a reaction from Ani Khachatryan, head of the "Republic" faction, escalating the atmosphere.

“Clean up this trash here; that’s enough,” Sukiasyan responded sharply.

Avinyan urged to maintain the boundaries of decorum, stating, “If we talk about the previous authorities and whom we have removed and thrown out from the cabinets, you will see that it is not us; you will not see power in the future. Your kind, at most, can bark. You can keep barking because the dog barks and the wind blows. I’ll respond to you in your own style,” Avinyan said.
