Netanyahu Announces How Israel Will Respond to Iran
Israel will respond to Iran's aggression with "intelligence, not emotions," declared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting with partners from the ruling Likud party.
"We will respond to Iran, but we must act wisely and not out of emotion. They need to be put under stress, just as they made us feel stressed," Netanyahu's remarks were quoted by Kan state radio.
According to Kan, Netanyahu told his colleagues that Israel's response should be coordinated with the United States. The broadcaster added that Israel is committed to notifying the U.S. in advance to avoid situations where American troops could be endangered due to lack of prior preparation.
A source from the radio station reported that Washington has made this request because Israel struck Iran's consulate in Damascus without informing the American side.
