Musk Plans to Charge New Users on X for Posting Messages

Elon Musk is planning to charge new users of the X social network a small fee for the ability to post messages. This initiative aims to address the issue of "bot supremacy."

“Modern artificial intelligence bots (and troll farms) easily bypass bot tests. Unfortunately, charging for the ability to post is the only way to overcome bot supremacy,” Musk stated on X.

Later, Musk clarified that this feature will only apply to new users, and that “after three months, they will be able to use the platform for free.”
