VIDEO: Riots Erupt in Sydney Following Stabbing Attack on Bishop

Riots have erupted in the suburbs of Sydney following a stabbing attack on a bishop and churchgoers by a man. Dozens of people gathered near the church, seeking to enact vigilante justice on the assailant. They hurled bottles and bricks at police vehicles and the barricades erected by law enforcement.

The police deployed tear gas against those attempting to breach the blockade. According to reports, four individuals were injured in the attack and are receiving medical assistance.

Earlier, it was reported that a man had attacked the bishop with a knife in the Sydney suburb.
