Samvel Vardanyan Arrested Following Incident with Hakob Aslanyan

The Police of Armenia has just arrested civil activist Samvel Vardanyan on charges of hooliganism. This was reported to Irakanum.am by the police's press service.

It is noted that an incident occurred today in public transport between Hakob Aslanyan and Samvel Hakobyan, a member of the ruling party.

The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, responded to the incident by stating that "this hooligan act will quickly receive the law's strictest response, and let no one doubt that." Hakob Aslanyan has commented on the incident happening today in public transport.
