In a disturbing incident at the Dacia Arena in Udine, the second half of the match between Roma and Udinese was interrupted today. According to Romapress.net, in the 72nd minute, Roma's central defender Evan Ndicka collapsed on the field, after which he was taken off on a stretcher.
As reported by DAZN, the player was conscious at the time. Sport.ru states that the footballer is suspected of having suffered a heart attack.
It has been decided to postpone the match indefinitely, though it will resume with the score at 1-1, as it stood before the incident.
