Gas Stove Falls on 2-Year-Old in Armavir Region; Child Taken to Hospital
On April 2, an emergency incident took place in the Armavir region. Around 2:30 PM, the operational management center of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report from the 'Holy Mother of God' medical center that a child had been taken to the hospital with a diagnosis of 'head trauma' after a gas stove fell on him.
According to shamshyan.com, the child transported to the hospital was identified as 2-year-old T.E., a resident of the Armavir region. Officers from the Armavir police division, led by Division Chief Volodya Gevorgyan, investigated the incident and found that at around 11:00 AM that same day, T.E. was in the backyard of their home with his father. Due to the parent's negligence, the child approached the summer gas stove placed in the yard and opened its door, causing the stove to shift and fall on him, resulting in physical injuries.
