Stabbing Incident in Shirak Province: Several Knives Found with 17-Year-Old Resident

On April 11, an extraordinary incident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 21:40, operational information was received at the Shirak Provincial Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia that the emergency medical team of the ‘Artik’ Medical Center had transported a citizen in a stab-wounded condition to the hospital.

According to Shamshyan.com, it was revealed in the hospital that a 46-year-old resident from one of the villages in Shirak Province, Armenak G., was admitted with 'bleeding wounds in various parts of the body and alcohol intoxication' diagnosed.

Before the victim was transferred to the operating room, he reportedly informed the doctors that the injuries were a result of a fall. However, the Shirak Provincial Police Department received further operational information that a stabbing had taken place.

Criminal investigation officers from the Artik police department quickly established that Armenak G. had been stabbed and injured by a 17-year-old resident of Shirak Province, Arthur V.
