Germany will have to supply Ukraine with weapons and ammunition for a long time, stated German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in an interview with Tageszeitung. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

"I have always said that Russia should not win this war. And it quickly became clear that this war will not be short-lived. We will have to supply Ukraine with weapons and ammunition for a long time," Scholz said.

He added that no one knows how long the armed conflict in Ukraine will continue. "I know that many citizens are concerned that the situation may escalate, and this concern is understandable," he noted.
