According to these sources, Israel is preparing for a direct attack from Iran, either from the north or the south. However, the publication notes that Tehran has not yet made a final decision.

Earlier, the Axios portal reported, citing its sources, that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock that Iran would respond to the shelling, but the retaliatory measures would be limited to avoid escalating the situation.

In a regular press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that the United States has warned Iran against further escalation of the situation in the Middle East.
