Macron Urges Acceleration of Transition to Military Economy in France

French President Emmanuel Macron has urged leaders of defense industry companies in Berjaer to accelerate the transition to a military economy. "The transition to a military economy is currently a necessity," Macron stated, emphasizing the rise in military spending and defense product orders across Europe.

According to the BFMTV television channel, the French President also announced the intention to continue support for Ukraine. In his speech, Macron mentioned that the European Union could agree to provide more than 50 billion euros in assistance to Ukraine if the United States stops its support for Kyiv.
