Video: We Are Not Opposed to Starting Border Delimitation from Tavush; This Does Not Guarantee No Attacks on Armenia, Says Pashinyan
Armenia is not opposed to starting the border delimitation process with Azerbaijan from the section of four villages in Tavush province and Azerbaijan's Kazakh region, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in the National Assembly.
He emphasized that delimiting the border in these areas does not guarantee security, but rejecting this issue will ensure a continuous increase in security threats.
"We need to neutralize this," the Prime Minister said. Pashinyan also declared that this does not guarantee that there will be no attacks on Armenian territory.
"But the opposite behavior guarantees a new attack on the sovereign territory of Armenia, and we need to neutralize this," he noted.
The Prime Minister said that the border delimitation in Tavush will not guarantee that Azerbaijan will return the vital areas of our more than thirty villages.
"But refusing to carry out delimitation in the mentioned area guarantees that Azerbaijan will not return the vital areas of our villages, and we need to neutralize this," Pashinyan stated.
