What Did Nikol Pashinyan Discuss with Olaf Scholz?

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has had a phone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. This was announced by the Government.

It was noted that issues related to Armenia-Germany cooperation and the further development of Armenia-EU relations were discussed. The peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan was also addressed. Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that Armenia is ready to move towards solutions based on the principles agreed upon in Prague on October 6, 2022, in Brussels on May 14 and July 15, 2023, as well as in Granada on October 5, 2023. Nikol Pashinyan deemed any attempt to distort those principles as unacceptable.

The Prime Minister thanked Chancellor Scholz for supporting democratic reforms in Armenia and for assisting the development of Armenia-Germany and Armenia-EU relations.
