Employees of the 'Goy' theater were denied access to the theater.

Hrachya Nersisyan, deputy director of the Sundukyan Theater, requested that they send their notification application by mail, stating that the court case has been accepted for consideration and that, by law, 'Goy' theater employees must be allowed to continue working until the court's decision.

'Since we are a third party in this matter and the respondent is the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, please drop this letter in their box; they will forward it to us,' he said.

Nersisyan added that 'Goy' employees can continue their creative work by entering the theater through the entrance designated for the audience. 'No one has deprived them of the opportunity to create. The acceptance of the court case concerns the suspension of state registry processes, but everything has been allocated to Sundukyan according to the cadastre, and Sundukyan has not received a letter from any entity to open the door, so 'Goy' employees can enter unimpeded. They can work by entering through this entrance, which is for the audience,' he stated.

'Goy' theater attorney Karo Asatryan noted that his right to submit a simple application was violated. He had previously mentioned that the actions of the 'Goy' theater staff had been temporarily suspended. 'Believing that we can also find a solution to this issue out of court and we have signals that negotiations have begun on the part of the ministry aimed at resolving the further status of the 'Goy' theater. So to speak, actions have been initiated alongside the judicial process, and we have tried to suspend certain actions for the sake of not disrupting the negotiations,' he stated.

The attorney added that they are simultaneously contesting the illegal actions to dissolve the theater in court. He mentioned that they also want to inform that the director of the Sundukyan Theater should open the entrance so that people can return to their normal work, as it must be opened by law; the claim has been accepted for consideration.
