VIDEO: ‘GOY’ Actors Suspend Sit-In and Begin Negotiations with Ministry of Education and Science

The indefinite sit-in by the actors in front of the ‘Goy’ theater has been suspended. Actor Sargis Arzumanyan announced that negotiations with the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) are set to begin today at 6:30 PM.

“We are going into the meeting without preconditions, but since there are no guarantees here, we are temporarily suspending the sit-in. We will go, see what happens, and then we will understand whether to continue the sit-in or not,” he stated.

It should be noted that the actors had initiated the indefinite sit-in because the entrance door to the theater was closed, and the theater staff needed to access the building through the Gabriel Sundukyan Theater. However, the management of the Sundukyan Theater insisted that the ‘Goy’ actors and staff obtain their passes, for which they refused to provide personal data.
