Roads Closed in Armenia

The emergency services have reported that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and the Karch lake are closed.

In the Ararat region, a partial collapse occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near the village of Getapnya, leading to the suspension of traffic on the bridge. Employees of the Road Department are carrying out delimitation work.

Regarding Lars: According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
