France Should Exit NATO as Soon as Possible, Politician Warns

France should exit NATO as soon as possible, as remaining in the organization is becoming extremely dangerous. This opinion was expressed on X social media by Florian Philippot, the leader of the French party "Patriots." This comes in response to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's remarks about the possibility of NATO membership for Ukraine.

“A mad and extremely dangerous American statement. Let us free ourselves from this trap as soon as possible, exit NATO, and establish peace,” wrote Philippot.

The politician believes that U.S. actions are bringing the world closer to a Third World War, the first victims of which will be European countries, including France.

Previously, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced at the NATO summit in Brussels that Ukraine would become a member of the alliance.
