Aliyev: Western Attempts Will Lead to Negative Consequences in the Future

The attempts of the West to transform Armenia into a military outpost in the South Caucasus will lead to negative consequences in the future. This statement was made by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev.

“The anti-Azerbaijani statements from the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, which have been issued since September of last year, are attempts to turn Armenia into a military outpost in the South Caucasus and will have significant negative repercussions in the future. In this regard, we have issued statements to warn our partners in the USA and Europe,” said the Azerbaijani leader.

Earlier, we reported that Aliyev stated, “The US-EU-Armenia meeting in Brussels creates yet another source of danger for the South Caucasus.”
