Vitaly Balasanyan Asks Nikol Pashinyan to Leave Him Alone and Promises Not to Speak
According to exclusive information from 24News, after the forced depopulation of Artsakh, the former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh and national hero Vitaly Balasanyan arrived in Armenia and, together with some of his close associates, was summoned by the Anti-Corruption Committee. Sources from the law enforcement bodies of the site reported that they tried to clarify how Balasanyan and his entourage crossed the Hakari Bridge, and most of all, the authorities were interested in whether they planned to engage in political processes.
After being interrogated several times, the former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh communicated through intermediaries with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, informing him that he did not intend to participate in the regime change process or engage in political processes. According to the source, Balasanyan conveyed to Pashinyan that he would wait in Armenia until the citizens of Artsakh return to Artsakh with any status and guarantees, and asked to be left alone.
24News also wrote that after this mediated conversation, Balasanyan and his close associates were no longer summoned by the prosecuting body. This is the reason why Vitaly Balasanyan, the hero of Artsakh, has not made any public statements or comments since arriving in Armenia.
It has also become known that Balasanyan left Stepanakert for Armenia on September 28, heading towards the Hakari Bridge. However, according to information provided to 24News, Balasanyan learned that the Azerbaijani-installed illegal checkpoint was already aware of his movements as soon as he set out from Stepanakert. Consequently, Balasanyan was forced to exit the vehicle and reach Armenia via alternative field routes, resulting in his arrival in Armenia only during the first ten days of October.
