According to Khachatryan, Yerevan does not coordinate any maps with Baku. “Yerevan has a map recognized internationally, it has borders, and we should not agree on that with anyone. This is the map established by the Almaty declaration,” the KCP member stated.

He also mentioned that the process has started and must be advanced in every possible way.

Responding to a journalist's comment that only the Armenian authorities claim that the Tavush villages are Azerbaijani, he replied, “Do you doubt that they are Azerbaijani on the map? Are you serious?”

When asked when Azerbaijanis will leave Jermuk and why the process did not start from Jermuk, the KCP member said, “When we reach Jermuk. They didn’t want to; they wanted to start from the four villages of Tavush.”
