VIDEO: New Footage from Strong Earthquake in Taiwan, Number of Injured Reaches 900

The number of casualties from the earthquake in Taiwan has reached nine, with another 882 people injured, according to China Times. Earlier reports indicated seven fatalities and more than 700 injured.
The earthquake caused three accidents on the railway, high-speed rail, and metro systems. A total of 125 buildings have been damaged, and over 91,000 households are without electricity.
In Hualien, an eleven-story building has tilted and collapsed, trapping people on several floors. A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan on the morning of April 3, marking the strongest quake in at least the last 25 years. The epicenter was located 25 kilometers southeast of Hualien County.
