Video: The Largest Attack During the War - The Missile Strike on Ukraine's DniproHPP and Its Consequences

New footage has emerged online from the missile strike on DniproHPP that occurred on March 22 and its aftermath.

On the night of March 22, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, targeting energy infrastructure facilities, including the country's largest hydroelectric power plant, DniproHPP. The plant has ceased operations, leading to emergency power outages in seven regions of the country.

Kiev has described the strike as the largest attack in recent times, if not the largest throughout the entire war. Russian military officials have admitted that Ukrainian energy facilities were the targets of the mass assault. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian forces fired approximately 90 various types of missiles and launched over 60 kamikaze drones. These figures have been confirmed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Air Force.

They acknowledged that only 92 out of 151 aerial targets were hit. The most significant damage, according to Ukrainian authorities and energy sector workers, has been inflicted on the infrastructure in Kharkiv, where there has been a complete loss of electricity.

It is worth recalling that last June, during Russia's war against Ukraine, the Kakhovka Hydro Power Plant was destroyed, leading to catastrophic consequences.
