VIDEO: Large Fire at Uralmashzavod Company Area

A large fire broke out in one of the workshops located within the Uralmashzavod company's territory in Yekaterinburg. According to local Telegram channels, the significant fire occurred in the former workshop number 57, where approximately 500 liters of lacquer was stored. Black smoke can be seen from various parts of the city. The fire has covered an area of 4,500 square meters.

More than 64 firefighters and 22 units of equipment are participating in the firefighting efforts. About 300 square meters of the workshop’s roof has completely collapsed. It has been reported that the Uralmashzavod company has stated that the burning workshop does not belong to them.

The Uralmash plant is a major machinery manufacturing enterprise in Yekaterinburg, producing equipment for metallurgy, mining, and energy sectors. The fire that broke out has been extinguished over an area of 4,500 square meters, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
