Mass campaigns against illegal immigrants in Moscow and the region are also related to the search for subscribers of extremist and radical Islamic TG channels and chat groups. This has been reported by the Mash Telegram channel.

According to the channel, officials already have lists of participants who are quickly identified, detained, and expelled along with their families. One of the largest checks took place on March 20 at the Wildberries warehouse in the city of Elektrostal near Moscow. It lasted from the morning until late evening, impacting the night shift as well.

As a result, 38 individuals were taken to the police station, some of whom were subscribed to extremist TG channels. In addition to the Wildberries warehouse, inspections have taken place in St. Petersburg and Moscow. The number of expelled migrants has already increased several times, and all subscribers to such channels will face the same fate.

Thus, a participant in a public page dedicated to the Vilayat Khorasan group, which is a branch of the DAESH terrorist organization in Afghanistan, was expelled from the country. Following him, 29-year-old Kakhramon Merganov was sent directly back to his homeland from Moscow on suspicion of having ties to Ukrainian intelligence.

His vehicle was stopped by traffic police, searched, and found to contain anti-Russian correspondence with citizens of Ukraine and Tajikistan. Kakhramon had previously lived in Kyiv.
