When Will the NSS Detention Facility Close

The well-known NSS detention facility at the 'Yerevan-Central' penitentiary will be closed. A new prison is set to be established next to the 'Abovyan' penitentiary in the Kotayk region. This new facility will accommodate the entire staff of the 'Nubarashen', 'Vardashen', 'Convicts Hospital', and 'Yerevan-Central' penitentiaries, along with their incarcerated individuals.

This was reported by the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper. The newspaper inquired with Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan about whether the NSS detention center would be closed, to which the minister responded that after the establishment of the new penitentiary, yes, it will be closed.
