We Do Not Use the Term 'Zangezur Corridor' - Zakharova

The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has addressed the issue of enclaves and the potential aggression from Baku. Zakharova stated, 'Our position on this issue is clear. We urge both parties to exercise restraint. All territorial disputes and mutual claims must be resolved solely through political and diplomatic means. The issues pertaining to enclaves and others should be resolved through the bilateral work of delimitation and demarcation commissions. We are prepared to offer the maximum support from the Russian side. We maintain the same approach regarding the unblocking of communications.'

She specifically noted that, 'We do not use the term 'Zangezur Corridor.' For compromises, there is a trilateral commission between Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan. We call on our partners to demonstrate political will and to activate the work of the trilateral format.'
